Seasoned simplicity in Vogue US 1995

vogue-us-september-1995-8

My choice of today’s editorial is obvious – the time of London fashion week required something British, and so I picked the Seasoned simplicity, a sweet, romantic and very much London-based story featured Kirsty Hume and her husband, Donovan Leitch, who, for some reason, reminds me of young David Bailey… I wonder if it’s just me or you, too, can spot some similarities here…

And talking of similarities… I can’t help but feel that this editorial had a strong influence on some of the recent ones including Natalia jumping in her Prada dress in the Grand Affair and a story published in either Vogue or Love in 2012 – I’m currently going through my extensive collection to double-check and confirm the latter.
