Inguna Butane in Vogue Germany 2008

Whenever Vogue Germany team stop concentrating on editorials that feature boobs, they come up with some absolutely gorgeous and very elegant stories that I want to frame and keep forever.

This one is featuring Inguna Butane photographed by Koto Bolofo is one of my absolute favourite. Every shot is like a painting or an image one could find in a copy of Harper’s Bazaar a few decades ago (I am thinking Avedon’s Dovima with elephants to be precise). And then comes the styling – the hats, the shoes and one of my most unforgettable Bottega Veneta dresses that I am still dreaming of.

I also really adore Inguna – she is so incredibly gorgeous, but has a kind of beauty that doesn’t intimidate, but rather makes you feel like you are holding your face under the sun rays feeling the glow and warm caress on your skin. I loved it when she was a Bottega Veneta girl, too. She really made those campaigns even more precious.
