Designer look for less: Louis Vuitton Fall 2013

Reliving the the decadent boudoir romance of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 collection through my own interpretation of one of the signature looks presented during the show. I know some people disliked the clothes, though I feel it was more due to the fact of excising within some strict boundaries that obviously didn’t allow a hint of lace to sneak through… I thought it was beautiful, indulgent and somewhat magical, something a woman would wear if she could…

Designer look for less: Louis Vuitton Spring 2005

Don’t let the season put you off, but instead give me a chance to live through one of those special eureka moments. You know, the ones that turn your brain into a pink cloud and changes the anatomy of your stomach replacing regular enzymes with butterflies.

Ever dreamed of being a Louis Vuitton girl? A flirtatious and feminine Parisienne that loves playing with fashion, breaking the rules and wearing her Louis Vuitton in the process?

And though I may have to skip the original Vuitton and go with a few high street pieces, the alternatives are so fabulous (and budget friendly!) it’s hard to blame me for being so excited about sharing this outfit idea.

P.S. Socks are optional – not my comfort zone, I admit that. However, they come with the outfit and some girls can actually pull them off wonderfully, so the hosiery is here to stay.

Designer look for less: Lanvin Resort 2013

What a day I had yesterday! Busy, tiring and wonderful at the same time. It began very early, with the usual routine of taking care of pupster and making coffee for the human part of the family, meeting a client, run to the station to get to London, to my “happy place” (which is, in fact, work-related, but I adore being there), back home three hours later, an evening seminar and, after a quick and absolutely pointless struggle to stay awake, a date with my pillow that seemed even softer and more inviting than usual. 

So the plan for today is to share my latest high street finds that made me think of Lanvin Resort 2013 because, lets be honest, not every girl can dance into a Lanvin boutique and pick a £2200 dress and £900 brogue-style wedge shoes otherwise it would be one of the most popular places in Earth, as far as most women are concerned.

Right now, I present you a £35 dress that reminded me of the collection, a classic cross-body costing £25 and a pair of £180 suede and plexiglass wedges. The shoes that also come in nude (as in colour, not the “hello, here we are, the nude pair” way, of course) were chosen purely because I liked them more than any other “crystal slippers” created for the high street this season.

Before I leave, I wanted to mention that the shoes from my Nina Ricci Look for less so many of you liked are now on sale. Just thought it’s worth to mention.
