Wonderful, glorious, sunny, every muscle fibre melting and soul soothing, that’s what my weekend was like. Apart, of course, from Saturday. It rained a lot. Even pupster hated those moments.
Everything change as soon as Sunday came and threw a bunch of sunrays in my window. Suddenly the sky turned turquoise, a gorgeous blue background for the light as air pink coloured soufflé of cherry blossoms, and every living creature, big or small, found themselves enjoying the spring as it should be.
And so the patio doors remained opened until the sky turned powdery lavender and the crocuses closed their happy smiling faces getting ready to catch on some beauty sleep.
As for me… I window-shopped for shoes, then – knitwear and eventually got a bit frustrated with myself for no girl should ever find herself in a situation when she must choose between two beautiful pairs, both calling her name out loud… The knitwear shopping involved admiring a polka dot jumper that I am feeling quite emotionally attached to at the moment. So much so that I may end up doing a post around the subject some time soon.
And the Monday editorial? Well, it’s all about stripes like it’s 1994! Don’t try to figure out why, after looking at polka dots, I chose this story. I am a woman. I am allowed to act without any logic known to or understood by man. Or woman. I simply liked the mood of these photos, the dress on the fifth photo (the one before last), the smiles and the bob (because I had exactly the same cut for years).
Have a beautiful day!
P.S. If you haven’t entered my giveaway yet, do have a look because it really is pretty.
