Coats - the comfort blankets, luxurious cover-ups and style statements. I love them all. I believe in investment pieces crafted from cashmere, camel and wool to make me feel spoilt for years. I believe in sweet and cosy duffle coats to throw on when taking Oscar out for a walk rain or shine – Hunter wellies, woolly socks, dirty paws and lots and lots of happy cuddles included.
I also believe that once in a while it’s perfectly normal to be tempted by something in a shade of gelato, bubble gum or macaroon and keeping it for a season the creation was meant to be fashioned for, even though the new acquisition might be 50% flammable and lined in polyester – if it makes you happy, it’s a small price to pay. Should pink be your favourite colour whatever the season or trend – indulge without breaks!
