La vie en rose: Karen Elson in Harper’s Bazaar 2013
Sometimes it only takes a beautiful spring weekend to make one break the rules. A bit of sunshine, copious amounts of blue sky and a cup of tea that I had in a garden while admiring freshly planted white crocuses. It was a weekend of flowers. Apart from the above mentioned perennials, I took plenty of photos of delicate vibrant blooms in a garden center and warmly welcomed a gorgeous clivia that moved in with us. Naturally, when it came to choosing a perfect editorial to match my mood, this story from the May issue of UK Harper’s Bazaar was just perfect.

Miami Revue | Vogue Germany 2009
What are the first things you think of when you hear Miami? Mine are Gianni Versace, palm trees, Dexter and this gorgeous editorial from the March issue of German Vogue from 2009. The retro vibe in sepia hues, genius Marlene Dietrich meets Great Gatsby styling and the cloudy feeling of heat make this story one of my most favourite ever.
And talking of the impeccable looks – wouldn’t be perfect to have this entire wardrobe for summer?
