I think it’s clear that I am sticking with Natalia Vodianova for a while. Most likely all the way before the new year. Speaking of which – Christmas is just a couple of weeks away. How fantastic is that? Have you got any Christmas wishes to share? So far mine are opening the presents (because I know what they are and I can’t wait to actually have them) and spend a couple of quiet weeks with my men being lazy, cosy and happy. And I hope we’ll get some snow, too because it makes Christmas feel more magical and real and the world around – a bit more beautiful.
This editorial made me think of winter – God knows what my mind and imagination are up to sometimes. Perhaps it’s the mix of cool pastels and metallics with a hint of warm glow… We have an abstract painting called, and here I translate you the Russian title that was originally in Lithuanian, “A glow of sunshine on a cold winter day” – a blend of soft yellows, creams, turquoise and silver. It’s been in our family since I was a kid, so maybe it left an imprint more significant that I’ve realised until now.
